You’ll also influence technical delivery, mentor team members, and help accelerate innovative solutions from prototype through deployment.

This is a remote position requiring approximately 25% travel and an active Secret clearance.

Accountabilities

  • Support the integration of active and passive RFID technologies, cloud environments, software applications, and related infrastructure.

  • Identify technical risks, resolve complex implementation challenges, and recommend practical solutions in fast-moving environments.

  • Help develop rapid prototypes and translate emerging technologies into mission-ready capabilities.

  • Mentor junior and non-technical personnel while providing technical guidance and fostering effective collaboration across disciplines.

  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders while ensuring technical objectives and delivery commitments are achieved.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • 5+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, software engineering, product management, technical leadership, or a comparable technical role.

  • Demonstrated experience deploying complex technology solutions for the U.S. Army.

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering solutions in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

  • Hands-on experience or strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies such as AWS or Azure.

  • Demonstrated understanding of DoD cybersecurity requirements, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and cybersecurity best practices.

  • Experience supporting complex security accreditation activities, including RMF and ATO processes.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain effective under pressure and ambiguity.

  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly prototype solutions in response to customer and mission requirements.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and possess an active DoD Secret security clearance or meet eligibility requirements for one.

  • Familiarity with active or passive RFID hardware, including readers, antennas, and tags, is preferred.

  • Experience with satellite-based backhaul systems such as Starlink or Iridium, secure VPNs, and LAN/WAN infrastructure is preferred.

  • An active DoD Top Secret clearance is preferred.

Benefits

  • Target salary range of $160,000–$200,000 annually , with actual compensation determined by factors including location, experience, education, skills, internal equity, contract requirements, and security clearance.

  • Fully remote work within the United States.

  • Approximately 25% travel , providing opportunities to engage directly with mission and customer environments.

  • Opportunity to work on innovative asset-tracking, RFID, IoT, cloud, and software technologies.

  • Direct exposure to U.S. Army and broader DoD mission requirements.

  • Opportunity to contribute to high-impact technology modernization initiatives supporting U.S. warfighters.

  • Significant technical ownership across architecture, deployment, cybersecurity, and solution delivery.

  • Opportunity to mentor colleagues and collaborate with senior technical and government stakeholders.

  • Work on rapid prototypes and mission-ready solutions in an innovation-focused environment.

  • Equal opportunity employment and reasonable accommodation support for qualified individuals.
