Role Overview
As Senior Technical Product Manager, you will translate Pulselight's product strategy into impactful features and solutions. Leveraging market insights, customer feedback and system-level thinking, you will define, design and deliver intuitive, scalable and user-centric features that empower health and human services agencies to improve outcomes. You’ll collaborate with product, engineering, R&D, sales, and customer success teams to build features that enhance our product portfolio and maintain a competitive edge in rapidly evolving markets. This role is ideal for data-driven product thinkers with a passion for building innovative solutions and driving measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities

Partner with product leadership to iteratively refine the definition of market problem using customer voices, data analysis, and market research.

Decompose strategic objectives and capabilities into modular and scalable features that that align with business goals and platform architecture.

Engage with users to understand their jobs and pain points. Work backwards to design features and experiences that power valuable insights and prompt meaningful actions.

Translate feature concepts into detailed user stories, use cases and technical requirements.Author rigorous and comprehensive business requirement documents (BRDs) and UI mockups that fully describe the user experience and success metrics.

Own and manage a product backlog and roadmap. Prioritize features and evaluate tradeoffs considering user impact, business goals, and technical feasibility.

Communicate priorities, tradeoff decisions, and progress to leadership and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.

Collaborate with platform engineering, product analytics and UX teams to plan development sprints, clarify requirements, conduct testing and coordinate releases.

Champion exceptional user experiences by gathering and analyzing user feedback to validate feature concepts and assess feature performance.

Define and instrument output metrics for features. Use qualitative and quantitative data to track user performance and optimize the product.

Author release announcements and support development of training content.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Demonstrated curiosity and ability to quickly learn new technologies and user needs, with a track record of turning insights into impactful features.

7+ years of experience managing SaaS platforms and web-applications in a B2B model.

5+ years of experience managing data analysis products or decision support solutions in a healthcare or public sector context.

Demonstrated ability to dive deep and leverage data to solve problems at all levels of the product experience.

Proven ability to deconstruct complex systems into modular, abstract components, facilitating scalability, reusability, and integration with existing architecture.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with proven experience influencing senior executives and cross-functional teams.

Experienced working through ambiguity, imperfect data, and competing priorities to drive meaningful progress.

Skilled at modeling feature impact output metrics and aligning them with business objectives

Proven bias for action with a strong focus on balancing rigorous evaluation with rapid, results-driven decision making.

Track record delivering features on time, within scope and budget in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications

MBA or equivalent experience in product leadership.

Knowledge of BI platforms, data visualization tools, or data integration products including architecture, user experience, and interaction patterns.

Experience with machine learning and AI-driven analytic products, including deployment at scale and integrating predictive insights into BI tools.

Experience designing intuitive workflow solutions that enable users to act on insights from analytic tools.

Familiarity with UX and interaction design principles, usability testing, and user-centered design methodologies.

Experience working with wireframes, prototypes, or user journey maps to support feature development.

Experience with health plans or public sector agencies focused on program integrity, or service delivery/quality.
