Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with accounting policies to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

  • Perform and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving variances as needed

  • Assist with the month-end close processes while providing accounting assistance for ongoing projects and other ad hoc initiatives throughout the month

  • Reconcile payroll-related accounts and investigate variances.

  • Support internal and external audit requests by gathering, organizing, and providing required supporting documentation

  • Monitor and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • 2-4+ years of accounting experience.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data analysis).

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger accounting.

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Workday (WD) or other ERP/accounting systems.

  • Experience with payroll reconciliations and payroll accounting.

  • Experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Knowledge of intercompany transactions and expense allocations.

  • Understanding of spend categories, cost centers, and financial reporting structures within a multi-entity organization.

Physical Requirements

  • This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.   • This position may require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

  • This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.

** U.S. Eligibility Requirements**

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. For U.S. employment opportunities, Corient hires U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Corient will require proof of work authorization.
