2. About the Opportunity

: The

Staff Accountant

role is focused on maintaining accurate, timely, and scalable financial operations. This position is responsible for managing key accounting processes, supporting monthly financial close, improving controls and documentation, and collaborating with multiple teams to deliver reliable financial reporting. The role contributes to the organization by ensuring financial data integrity and enabling better business decision-making as the company grows.

3. Responsibilities

Manage commission and bonus accounting, including calculations, monthly accruals, reconciliations, and coordination with FP&A and Payroll
Account for capitalized commissions per accounting standards, including amortization and reconciliations
Oversee accounting for cash, prepaids, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions as applicable
Ensure all transactions comply with accounting policies and US GAAP
Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Payroll, FP&A, and operational teams for timely financial reporting
Prepare schedules and documentation to support audit, tax, and compliance activities
Maintain organized accounting records, process documentation, and evidence of internal controls
Identify and recommend improvements to recurring issues, processes, controls, and systems
Utilize AI and automation to enhance close workflows, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency
Support ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects aligned with business evolution

4. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3 to 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting or high-growth company experience is advantageous
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and core accounting principles
Experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement support
Familiarity with building AI workflow agents is a plus
Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets; experience with ERP systems such as Netsuite
High attention to detail, sound judgment, and consistent ability to meet deadlines
Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross-team collaboration
Continuous improvement mindset with ownership of problem resolution
Experience in fast-growing SaaS environments is beneficial

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary range is $89,500 to $112,000
Eligibility for incentive stock options subject to applicable plans
