Staff Product Manager (Attribution)
Jobgether
Job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Product Manager (Attribution) based in the United States.
This foundational product leadership role will shape the strategy and roadmap for an attribution platform that determines how marketing exposures receive credit for customer conversions. You will help build the underlying capabilities that power reporting, measurement, and other customer-facing product experiences. Working across click-through, view-through, CTV, ABM, and other attribution approaches, you will translate complex measurement challenges into scalable product solutions. You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, QA, data, analytics, product marketing, and revenue teams to align product direction with customer needs. The role combines deep advertising measurement expertise with strong technical fluency, product judgment, and a data-driven approach to experimentation. As a Staff-level individual contributor, you will have significant influence over product strategy while independently driving initiatives from ambiguous problems through measurable outcomes.
Accountabilities:
-
Own the vision and roadmap for the Attribution product stack, including click-through and view-through attribution, vertical- and channel-specific models such as CTV and ABM, and customer-facing reporting and measurement capabilities.
-
Work directly with large and complex clients to understand their attribution requirements, how they evaluate marketing performance, and how they determine which advertising interactions should receive credit for conversions.
-
Build alignment across teams contributing to attribution and measurement, including Data & Analytics, Data Science, Revenue, Product Marketing, and other stakeholders, while supporting internal and external enablement around existing and emerging attribution methodologies.
-
Develop clear and comprehensive product specifications that capture user needs and provide engineering, design, and QA teams with actionable direction on feature behavior, requirements, and success criteria.
-
Lead product initiatives from ambiguous problems through delivery, making informed decisions, managing dependencies, and ensuring high-quality outcomes that increase customer engagement with the platform.
-
Translate complex technical challenges, including data pipelines, identity resolution, and event-level attribution at scale, into clear product decisions and practical solutions.
-
Use data to develop hypotheses, design and ship experiments, evaluate results, and continuously refine product direction based on measurable evidence.
-
Apply strong user-centered product judgment to ensure attribution features are intuitive, useful, and aligned with how customers understand and act on marketing performance data.
-
Incorporate AI and LLM-enabled workflows into product development and day-to-day work where they can accelerate productivity, while recognizing situations where deterministic approaches are more appropriate for customers and product functionality.
Requirements:
-
Bring strong experience in product management with demonstrated end-to-end ownership of product vision and roadmaps, particularly in advertising technology, marketing measurement, analytics, or related data-intensive environments.
-
Possess a deep understanding of advertising attribution and measurement methodologies beyond individual advertising platform reporting, including multi-touch attribution (MTA), marketing mix modeling (MMM), incremental lift studies, geo experiments, CTV attribution, ABM attribution, retail media measurement, and web analytics attribution.
-
Demonstrate the ability to shape product direction from ambiguous problems, align diverse stakeholders, and consistently drive initiatives through delivery toward measurable outcomes.
-
Have strong technical fluency and the ability to understand complex data systems, identity resolution, event-level attribution, data pipelines, and large-scale measurement challenges without requiring an engineering role.
-
Be able to explain sophisticated attribution and measurement concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
-
Bring a strong bias toward action grounded in data, with experience forming hypotheses, running experiments, interpreting results, and iterating product decisions accordingly.
-
Demonstrate strong product and design judgment, with the ability to evaluate features from the user’s perspective and create experiences that balance sophistication with usability.
-
Have practical experience incorporating LLMs and AI tools into day-to-day workflows and understand where AI can create value for customers versus situations that require deterministic methods.
-
Demonstrate strong communication, stakeholder management, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence teams and operate effectively in an environment with significant ambiguity.
Benefits:
-
U.S. base salary range of $168,000–$231,000 USD , with final compensation determined by factors including experience, expertise, location, technical skills, knowledge, abilities, education, certifications, organizational needs, and budget alignment.
