experience at either a Tier 1 VC backed startup - rapid career slope in big tech (i.e., promotions)
experience at LinkedIn or similar database company (e.g., Notion)

Hard skills

Significant experience optimizing infrastructure performance (e.g., reducing lag, latency, etc.)

Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern build tooling

Soft skills

High energy and enthusiasm with positive contributions to discussions and someone we would want to partner with every day

Strong communicator: answers directly, goes deep under probing — not vague or surfacelevel.

Seniority 7+ years of experience in frontend infrastructure with demonstrated scope expansion or rapid career slope (e.g., promotions into Staff-level ownership, platform-wide impact beyond feature work).

React and TypeScript required.

Track record fixing production performance issues at scale

Nice-to-have (Hard skills) Fluency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor) — has caused rejects when absent Backend-leaning thinking — ability to reason about data layer, APIs, and system boundaries even as a frontend engineer

Pay: $200,000.00 - $280,000.00 per year
