Job description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience programming in C++.

  • 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.

  • 5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.

  • 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.

  • 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

  • Experience in system integration or system design and computational modeling.

  • Experience working with one or more of the following: web or mobile application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, developing software systems, or security software development.

In this role, you will build software-defined infrastructure that automates traffic demand planning, capacity forecasting, network design, and deployment. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $207000 - $300000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Provide Technical leadership to the team, design, and architecture to build customer facing available, reliable, scalable systems.

  • Involve in software design and implementations, adhere to software best practices and architectural considerations on a project-wide level.

  • Collaborate across teams effectively, manage complex requirements and convert the outcomes into simplified solutions.

  • Understand the AI/ML applications, performance monitoring, identify key problem areas, work with various dependency teams, prioritize and drive solutions effectively to consensus.

  • Strategize and drive projects to improve development velocity, engineering excellence and product excellence.
