Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our firm. Duties

  • Prepare and various tax returns for individual and business clients.

  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP, SPF, and SSARS

  • Utilize various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and ProSystem FX Tax, or similar platforms for daily operations.

  • Mentor junior team members by sharing best practices in accounting procedures and software tools like Quicken or Microsoft Excel.

  • Participate in process improvements to enhance efficiency within the firm

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Hands-on experience with financial software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms.

  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis tools; experience with financial report writing is highly valued.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining accuracy.

  • Effective communication skills for mentoring team members and collaborating across departments. Pay: $57,761.50 - $75,000.00 per year
