Steel Works Mechanical Design Engineer (Autocad experience)

Iron Images are a design, manufacturing and installation company who specialise in secure steel products for the construction industry. We produce secure steel doors, steel windows, fire rated screens & doors and various other steel fabricated products. We have a product line and we are always inventing and creating new products to meet the current demand of the construction industry. We work on large new build construction projects and we have a continued maintenance program with secure facilities around Ireland. We manufacture specific products and export for key clients in Europe.

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer

• To work within an engineering production team

• Discuss architectural drawings with client, agreeing details, prepare design drawings, preparing drawings for approval and then bring the product through manufacturing and installation stage.

• Project manage projects and liaise with senior management on progress of project.

• Attend site surveys and liaise with site installation teams ensuring they understand the project and how the products are to be installed.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years’ experience in similar role.

• Autocad experience essential

• Good understanding of steel and construction details.

• Excellent attention to detail.

Ability to work off your own initiative

WORKING HOURS

Mon - Thurs 7.00am – 4.30pm

Fri 7.00am – 1.30pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €35,000.00-€50,000.00 per year
