Structural Design Engineer - Qatar (Min. 10 years)

We are a leading engineering consultancy in Doha is looking for a qualified Design Structural Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete and steel structures for large-scale building projects, ensuring efficient, safe, and code-compliant solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete buildings, including high-rise towers (20+ stories).

• Develop and review structural calculations, models, and design reports.

• Utilize CSI software (ETABS, SAFE) for structural modeling and analysis.

• Prepare and coordinate structural drawings with drafting teams.

• Coordinate closely with Architectural, MEP, and other disciplines to ensure design integration.

• Review and optimize structural systems (RC & Steel) for efficiency and constructability.

• Ensure compliance with international codes and local authority regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in structural design consultancy.

• Strong experience in large-scale RC projects, including high-rise buildings (20+ floors).

• Proficient in ETABS and SAFE (CSI programs).

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD.

• Experience in multi-disciplinary coordination.

• Knowledge in steel structure structural system review is required.

• Previous GCC experience is highly preferred.

• Willingness to relocate to Doha, Qatar.
