Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of structural systems for a variety of projects. This role requires a strong foundation in civil and structural engineering principles, proficiency with industry-standard software, and excellent project management skills. The Structural Engineer will collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure that all structures meet safety, sustainability, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed structural designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and Civil 3D.

  • Perform structural analysis and calculations utilizing tools like Mathcad to ensure safety and compliance with relevant codes.

  • Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.

  • Coordinate with project teams to integrate structural components within overall building or infrastructure plans.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.

  • Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and oversee construction progress.

  • Review contractor submittals and shop drawings to verify compliance with design intent.

  • Utilize Bluebeam for document review and collaboration during project phases.

  • Ensure all designs adhere to local building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Proven experience in structural design and analysis for commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.

  • Proficiency with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and Drafting tools.

  • Experience with project management tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and client communication is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with construction processes and materials to facilitate practical design solutions.

  • Strong mathematical skills with experience using Mathcad for complex calculations.

  • Knowledge of industry standards and building codes relevant to structural engineering projects. This position offers an opportunity to work on innovative projects within a collaborative environment that values technical expertise and professional growth.

Pay: $70,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
