Structural Engineer for Mechanisms (m/f/d).

**Depending on the area of responsibility, professional experience and specialist background, the gross annual salary ranges from EUR 60.000,00 to EUR 100.000,00.

The exact remuneration will be determined during the application process.**

Your mission

  • Design of mechanical systems such as landing gears, linkages, kinematic systems and their actuators

  • Optimize mechanism movements and select appropriate construction methods and materials

  • Conduct static and dynamic structural analysis using Finite Element Method (FEM) and perform Multi-Body Simulation (MBS) for moving parts

  • Execute system tests and analyze the results

  • Support physical assembly and integration, and solve technical problems quickly on-site

  • Create technical drawings and manufacturing documents and exchange directly with suppliers

Your profile

  • Masterโ€™s degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar

  • Strong Background in structural engineering

  • Background in the aerospace sector favorable

  • Experience with FEM Software (Ansys Mechanical or similar)

  • Experience with CAD Modelling (Creo/Inventor)

  • Good Knowledge about common aerospace construction materials (Aluminum, Titanium, Steel, CFRP, โ€ฆ) and manufacturing techniques

  • Proactive thinking, high motivation, flexible way of working

  • Proficiency in both German and English

  • Experience with working in a startup environment favorable
