Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.?  Vishay Blatná is currently seeking applicants for a Supplier Quality Engineer.

J ob Location:

 The branch in Blatná is the oldest production location in the Czech Republic. It is located at Paštická 1243 and Paštická 1096. It was founded in 1994. It manufactures capacitors for power, traction, industrial, and other applications. It currently employs approximately 550 employees.

What you will be doing:

• Supplier quality management for both project-based and serial production**• Qualification of new suppliers, participation in supplier selection, and collaboration on specification development

• Coordination of APQP activities and approval of PPAP/PPA documentation

• Resolution of claims and non-conformities using the 8D methodology

• Risk identification and management (FMEA, change management, new projects)

• Planning and conducting supplier audits

• Monitoring supplier performance and managing supplier development

• Collaboration with purchasing, production, development, and project management departments

What will you bring along:**

• University/secondary school education with an electrical engineering focus

• Previous knowledge in quality (ideally 5 years; as from 3 in SQA)

• Knowledge of Czech and English in both written and spoken form

• Knowledge of working with a PC (Word, Excel, Access)

• Independence, diligence, reliability, conscientiousness

• Organizational skills, willingness and ability to cooperate

• Group B driver's license

• Willingness to travel

• Knowledge of quality tools (8D, FMEA, ...)

• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
