Survey & Estimation Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Survey & Estimation Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The candidate will be responsible for conducting site surveys, preparing quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates, and supporting tender and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and measurements for new and existing projects.

• Review project drawings, specifications, and scope of work.

• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates.

• Prepare material and manpower requirements based on site conditions.

• Coordinate with Projects, Procurement, suppliers, and subcontractors.

• Obtain and compare supplier/subcontractor quotations.

• Identify discrepancies between site conditions and drawings.

• Assist in preparing tender and commercial submissions.

• Prepare survey reports, estimation sheets, and other required documentation.

• Support the Projects team with measurements, variations, and additional work estimates.

• Ensure all estimates are accurate and submitted within the required deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in surveying and estimation, preferably in the UAE.

• Experience in site measurement, quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation.

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Good communication, analytical, and coordination skills.

• UAE experience is preferred.

• UAE driving license is preferred.

• Candidates available in Abu Dhabi and able to join immediately are preferred.
