Our challenge

We are seeking a highly motivated Swift Technologist to join our team. The candidate will be a part of Swift Development Team working with Production Support Partners and Project partners.

SWIFT technologist is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte NC and Jersey City is $110k - $115k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Key responsibilities of the role include ensuring that SWIFT provided software is installed, configured, and supported to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.

• Requires knowledge of different services provided by the SWIFT network.

• Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements.

• Participating in and guide team in estimating work is necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.

• Perform proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.

• Implement solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.

• Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause.

• Document and communication required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.

Requirements:

• 5-10+ years in Technology industry

• 3-5 years hands-on experience in installing patches, maintaining, troubleshooting and testing SWIFT products: SWIFT Alliance Gateway, SWIFT Alliance Access, SWIFT Web Platform, SWIFT Net Link

• Able to demonstrate a knowledge of all SWIFT messaging formats

• Demonstrated experience in SWIFT protocols

• Strong communication skills - written, verbal, visual presentations, and effective listening skills

• Ability and desire to think creatively to deliver business results both independently and as part of a team

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience in Alliance Messaging Hub a plus

• Good understanding of the SDLC lifecycle

• Experience with SWIFT Hardware Security Modules
