Tool Engineering and STTE - Electrical Engineer/Technologist
Key Job Elements

Design and validate special tools and test equipment (STTE) for heavy off road vehicles
-
Developing and designing electrical circuits, components, systems and equipment
-
Developing maintenance and operating procedures for electrical systems and equipment
-
Troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment
-
Coordinate STTE prototype fabrication with local vendors to ensure the deliverables are met
-
Communicate with Engineering and Training Department to develop STTE concepts/models
-
Establish and maintain interface with Customers and business partners and suppliers
-
Maintain drawing files and CAD model structure to comply with department procedures
Required Qualifications
-
Electrical Engineering Technologist diploma/ or Degree
-
1-3 years relevant work experience
-
1-3 years of 3D Modeling/Parametric CAD experience
-
Must have high level of analytical, problem solving and electrical aptitude skills
-
Effective project management skills
-
Ability to travel (5% Canadian, 5% US & International) and possess/able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
Preferred Qualifications
-
Minimum 3 years relevant work experience

3+ Years of 3D Modeling/Parametric CAD experience
-
Worked with Unigraphics (Siemens NX) CAD software
-
Worked with Team Center Engineering/Manufacturing applications

Worked within a unionized environment
