Position Summary

The Treasury Accountant/Senior Treasury Accountant is an integral part of the Treasury Team and reports directly to the Director of Treasury Management. Responsible for reviewing, analyzing, reconciling, and researching activities related to: accounts receivable, customer financial statement reviews, daily/monthly analysis of line of credit availability/forecasting, and month end balance sheet reporting including DSO (Dental Service Organization).

Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?

  • Perform financial statement review and analysis of customers to assist the Customer Finance Support team

  • Prepare Accounts Receivable balance reports

  • Analyze monthly merchant services spend and interchange fees; identifying trends and recommending strategy for attaining the lowest fee data levels

  • Perform month end reconciliations and reporting for both the Treasury Operations and Customer Finance Support teams

  • Responsible for monthly customer statement errors

  • Balance sheet budgeting (AR/DSO)

  • Analyze and trend DSO (Dental Service Organization) and AR reports; allowing deeper dive on AR past dues, trends, etc.

  • Reconcile AR accounts

  • Research and implement, when necessary, AI/Machine Learning tools for efficiency

  • Effectively process credit cards and completion of daily credit card and cash receipts transaction reports

  • Assists leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and modeling on treasury related special projects

  • Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) on ERP changes

  • Generate credit card decline and expiration letters

  • Complies with all policies and standards to support the efficient operations of the department and company

  • Performs other duties as assigned

At the Senior Level

  • Assist in mentoring new team members and less tenured staff

  • Prepare and report on quarterly contribution margin

  • Research and recommend interest hedging strategies

  • Prepare month end financial slide deck for finance team and Board of Directors

  • Continuously monitor fixed coverage charge ration (FCCR) on monthly, trailing 12 months, and report quarterly to banking partner

  • Create budget for FCCR, tracking monthly through updated P&L forecasting

  • Prepare bank borrowing base reporting and submit to banking partner

Do YOU Meet These Requirements?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting of Finance, Required

  • Treasury Accountant: 1-3 years finance experience, Required

  • Senior Treasury Accountant: 4-6 years finance experience, Required

  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) - APF, Preferred

  • Technical Skills: SQL, Qlik, Claude, Preferred

  • Ability to work 2 days per week onsite in Pittston, PA

  • Effectively communicates in English (Reading, Writing, and Speaking), Required
