Broadridge is   undertaking the continued   modernization   of its   Capital Markets and Wealth   Engineering portfolio   to deliver resilient ,   scalable, secure,   and AI-enabled   solutions   for   capital markets   ecosystems.   The   Engineering   Portfolio Leader   will serve as a senior technology executive   accountable   for   defining   and executing the   portfolio   strategy ,   ensuring alignment across   engineering priorities ,   business   objectives,   regulatory expectations, client commitments, and enterprise   modernization   goals .

This role   requires a commercially astute and   technically   accomplished   executive   with   the   leadership   presence, transformation experience, and execution discipline   necessary to direct   engineering teams across   the portfolio’s   applications and platforms.   The   leader will   strengthen engineering practices,   develop   leadership   capacity , improve delivery predictability,   and   communicate   the target-state   technology   strategy   in   a manner   that   establishes   confidence   among   global   clients, business   leaders , product partners, and executive stakeholders .

  ** As part of   the   Capital Markets   and Wealth Engineering organization , this leader will   partner closely with product, operations, architecture, commercial, and enterprise technology teams to   define the target-state architecture and modernization roadmap . The role will balance   innovation with   disciplined   execution   to deliver business value,   improved client outcomes,   enhanced   platform   resiliency, and sustained technology   differentiation .

Experience across Capital Markets and Wealth is preferred, including trade lifecycle, clearing, settlement, custody, asset servicing, books and records, reconciliations, collateral, margin, regulatory reporting, client onboarding, advisor servicing, portfolio management, reporting, billing, compliance, data integration, and AI-enabled engagement.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management **

  • Establish   a   clear   strategic direction that   aligns   engineering teams   to   portfolio   priorities, business objectives, client outcomes, regulatory expectations, and enterprise roadmaps.

  • Lead enterprise-scale transformation   by translating   strategic priorities   into structured execution plans , disciplined   governance , and measurable outcomes.

  • Develop , coach, and retain high-performing engineering teams and leadership depth that   reinforce   accountability, collaboration, quality, delivery excellence, and client focus.

** Application Development & Delivery **

  • Provide executive oversight for   the design, development, testing, and deployment of   portfolio   applications and platform capabilities   across   trade   lifecycle , settlement   and   custody,   asset servicing, reconciliation,   client onboarding, reporting,   and related workflow   domains .

  • Ensure delivery   organizations consistently   adhere to engineering best practices, coding standards, security requirements, quality expectations, and   global   market readiness   requirements .

  • Drive predictable delivery through   clearly defined   commitments, consistent execution, quality outcomes, regulatory awareness, and financial discipline.

** Governance & Quality **

  • Advance   SDLC, Agile, DevOps, governance, and operational readiness practices across   portfolio   teams.

  • Define and institutionalize   metrics that make quality, platform performance, resiliency, delivery predictability, client satisfaction, leadership accountability, and production readiness visible and actionable.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory obligations, enterprise security frameworks, data protection standards, and operational risk expectations.

** Stakeholder Management **

  • Serve as a   senior   client-facing technology leader, articulating   the   target-state strategy, modernization roadmap, migration path, platform readiness, and business value with clarity ,   credibility , and executive presence .

  • Engage   global   clients, business units, product partners, commercial teams, and operations stakeholders to   establish alignment , support adoption, and   connect   platform capabilities to measurable client outcomes.

  • Translate complex engineering concepts into outcome-oriented   executive   narratives that   support   decision-making,   strengthen   global   client confidence, and   reinforce   enterprise alignment.

  • Provide   structured and   transparent communication   regarding   progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, opportunities, and strategic partner relationships across the   portfolio   ecosystem.

** Innovation & Continuous Improvement **

  • Lead modernization across   portfolio   platforms, including cloud, microservices, automation, data modernization, integration capabilities, and   broader   digital transformation initiatives.

  • Promote   innovation, continuous learning, disciplined experimentation, and measurable improvement across   portfolio   teams, practices, and operating models.

  • Prioritize   responsible   AI, automation, tooling, and platform reuse opportunities that improve   engineering   productivity, resiliency, efficiency, regulatory readiness, and   global   client outcomes.

  • Convert   market trends,   global   client needs, regulatory expectations, and emerging technologies into practical modernization opportunities that strengthen platform differentiation.

** Technical Leadership **

  • Provide architectural leadership   across   portfolio   platforms   spanning   cloud-native, service-based, event-driven, API, data,   and   integration capabilities.

  • Establish   reusable assets, prototypes, POCs, MVPs, shared services, and AI-ready capabilities that accelerate delivery, reduce duplication, and increase enterprise leverage.

  • Enhance   post-trade   platform capabilities   across   trade lifecycle management, settlement exception handling, cash and securities movements, position and balance management, account servicing, client reporting, and operational controls.

  • Embed non-functional requirements into solution design to ensure resiliency, scalability, performance, security, observability, operational readiness, and regulatory confidence.

Qualifications

** Education **

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

** Experience **

  • 15+ years of software engineering experience, preferably   within   fintech, capital markets, post trade, or regulated financial services   environments .

  • 10+ years   of experience   managing engineering teams, leadership pipelines, budgets, vendor relationships, and enterprise delivery commitments.

  • Demonstrated record of   leading large-scale platforms, modernization programs, and AI-enabled engineering practices that deliver measurable business impact.

  • Experience with   global   capital markets, post trade processing, clearing, settlement, custody, securities processing, or client-facing financial technology platforms.

  • Knowledge of post - trade capabilities   across the   trade lifecycle, settlement, custody, asset servicing, reconciliations, books and records, regulatory reporting, and client integration.

** Skills & Competencies **

  • Enterprise leadership   capability, including   people management, organizational development, leadership pipeline   development , and talent-building   disciplines .

  • Strategic judgment with the ability to lead through complexity,   mobilize teams,   and convert   portfolio   transformation into measurable outcomes.

  • Executive   communication capability with the ability   to align technology, product, commercial, operations,   global   clients, and senior stakeholders around a compelling platform vision.

  • Deep understanding of modern platform architecture, full-stack development, APIs, integration, DevOps, data,   responsible AI , and post - trade   platform   capabilities .

  • Commercial and client orientation,   with the ability to connect   portfolio   technology investment, modernization, and AI-enabled innovation to measurable business value and client confidence.

  • Strong governance mindset, driving accountability, transparency, risk management, responsible AI, regulatory awareness, and disciplined execution.

  • Measurable progress against modernization, resiliency, automation, and responsible AI adoption objectives.

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $275,000 - 300,000.
