Senior Web3 Backend Engineer

Location:

New Jersey | Hybrid

Seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with 7+ years of enterprise software engineering experience and 3+ years of hands-on production Web3/Blockchain experience

Must Have:

Strong Java & Spring Boot
Microservices, REST APIs & distributed systems
Apache Kafka & event-driven architecture
Concurrent, multithreaded & asynchronous programming
Production blockchain integrations
Web3.js, Ethers.js or equivalent
Blockchain transaction lifecycle, signing & error/retry handling
Wallet infrastructure, crypto custody or tokenization experience

Preferred:

Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, XRPL, TypeScript, Node.js/NestJS, MPC/HSM, OpenTelemetry.

Note:

Candidates with only theoretical, academic, side-project, frontend, or smart-contract-only blockchain experience will not be considered.
