Location: Sydney, Australia (Hybrid)
Reports to: Head of Websites and Digital Shelf (Regional)
Purpose of the Role
The Website Project Manager plans, coordinates, and executes SEO and website projects. Acting as the day-to-day link between market, regional, global, and agency delivery partners, this role ensures content and SEO updates, campaigns, and platform changes are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and in line with global and SEO standards. This is a 12-month contract position, based in Sydney with hybrid working.
Key Accountabilities

Manage intake and execution of website and platform activation requests

Engage with brand teams to clarify requests and secure approvals

Manage SEO requests from the SEO agency and market, coordinating with global teams and website agencies to deliver on them

Oversee technical and on-page SEO - ensuring the SEO agency and website agencies run site audits, fix crawl errors, improve page speed, and optimise meta tags and schema data

Coordinate launches, campaigns, QA, and go-live activities

Ensure QA, accessibility, SEO/GEO, compliance, and governance readiness

Monitor performance, resolve issues, and escalate recurring gaps

Monitor site health and ranking changes

Qualifications and Experience Required

4+ years' experience in website and project management
-
Experience across multiple website CMS platforms

Experience working across websites of varying scale and complexity

Sound knowledge of GA4, GSC, GTM, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and Semrush

Ability to turn data (GA4, Search Console, etc.) into clear priorities and actions

A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a willingness to own tasks and outcomes

Ability to explain SEO and technical concepts in simple terms to different audiences

Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams

Experience managing operational processes and delivery SLAs

Understanding of QA, accessibility, SEO/GEO, and compliance requirements
Note: Employment will be administered through a partner company in Australia, while the role will be carried out onsite at Diageoโs Sydney office in a hybrid setup.
Pay: $85,000.00 per year
