POSITIION: FEMALE SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER

Location: Doha, Qatar

Reports To: General Manager

Experience: 6+ Years Mirabello Interiors is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our team in Qatar.

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented professional with strong technical knowledge and the ability to lead projects from concept design through construction and installation, while coordinating effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead interior design projects from concept development through detailed design, documentation, and installation.

• Meet with clients to understand their design preferences, functional requirements, objectives, and budgets.

• Develop creative, functional, and aesthetically strong interior design solutions.

• Prepare concept presentations, mood boards, material selections, 3D visualizations, and design proposals.

• Select and specify finishes, materials, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and millwork in line with the design concept and project requirements.

• Prepare detailed design and construction documentation, including plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, lighting layouts, furniture layouts, details, and specifications.

• Coordinate with architects, MEP/engineering consultants, contractors, fabricators, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.

• Review shop drawings, material samples, technical submissions, and construction details.

• Conduct site visits and field observations to monitor the implementation of the design.

• Ensure design solutions meet project requirements, quality standards, applicable codes, and safety requirements.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining design quality, timelines, and budgets.

• Lead and mentor junior interior designers and provide guidance on both creative and technical aspects.

• Support the project team throughout procurement, construction, and installation stages.

• Present design proposals and concepts clearly and professionally to clients and stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS

• Professional degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 6 years of relevant interior design experience, preferably within commercial, hospitality, residential, or high-end fit-out projects.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative design and technical capabilities.

• Proficiency in 3D modeling, rendering, and graphic design software.

• Strong knowledge of interior finishes, FF&E, materials, specifications, and construction detailing.

• Good understanding of architectural and MEP coordination and relevant building standards/codes.

• Ability to read and review technical drawings, shop drawings, and construction documentation.

• Strong project coordination, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lead and coordinate junior designers and work effectively with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

• Professional, collaborative, and proactive approach to work.
