Role Description

This is a full-time, remote role for a Frontend Developer building and owning features across our web app (React.js) and mobile app (React Native). This is a high-ownership role, you'll work closely with product and design, not just implementing tickets, but questioning, improving, and proposing better ones.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features across our React web app and React Native mobile app

• Own features end to end, from technical approach through implementation, testing, and release

• Build bilingual (Arabic + English) interfaces with full RTL support

• Integrate REST APIs with careful handling of auth, error/loading states, and the correctness and security standards expected in a regulated financial product

• Write and maintain automated tests as part of "done"

• Improve frontend architecture, code quality, and engineering standards; participate in code reviews

• Help shape technical decisions as we scale the platform

Qualifications

Required

• 4+ years of production frontend experience

• Strong, hands-on production experience with React.js

• Strong, hands-on production experience with React Native (shipped apps to the App Store and/or Google Play)

• Solid frontend fundamentals: state management, performance, API integration, and testing

• Proficiency with REST APIs, modern frontend tooling, and TypeScript

• Strong CSS/SCSS and component-based styling skills

• Experience writing automated tests and working in a Git-based, code-review workflow

• Strong ownership mindset; able to work independently in a remote, fast-moving environment

• Good async communication skills across time zones

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Pluses

• Experience building Arabic / RTL / bilingual applications

• Experience with the Expo ecosystem and native iOS/Android release pipelines

• Experience with real-time features (WebSockets) and native device capabilities such as secure storage and biometric authentication

• Experience in fintech, payments, or other regulated industries
