Interior Designer

Plan, develop, and deliver interior design projects from initial client requirements through concept development, mood boards, design themes, sketches, schematic design, and detailed technical drawings. Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and develop design solutions that meet the project objectives, quality standards, and agreed timeline.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Lead and manage the interior design of office and residential fit-out projects, from initial concept developmentthrough detailed design and technical drawings, ensuring alignment with client requirements, project objectives,quality standards, and agreed timelines.

* Develop and present interior design concepts, mood boards, design themes, material selections, and visual presentations based on the client’s requirements and project objectives.

* Prepare and develop interior design drawings from initial sketches and schematic design through detailed design, tender/IFT, and IFC drawings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and design consistency.

* Meet and coordinate directly with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and expectations,translate them into appropriate design solutions, and obtain timely design feedback and approvals.

* Establish and maintain design schedules for each project stage, coordinating deliverables and ensuring that agreed design milestones and deadlines are achieved.

* Coordinate interior design works with architectural, structural, MEP, and other specialist disciplines to ensure design integration, technical coordination, and drawing completeness.

* Review design drawings, technical details, material specifications, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with the approved design, project requirements, and applicable standards.

* Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and fit-out contractors regarding materials, finishes, samples, technical requirements, and design implementation.

* Conduct site visits and design inspections to review the implementation of interior design works, identify discrepancies, and provide appropriate design and technical solutions.

* Support the project team throughout the design and fit-out stages, providing technical and design input to resolve issues and ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications, Experience and Education

* Education in interior design engineer / architect Minimum +10 years relevant working experience in GCC

* Familiarity and good knowledge of the design process and sequences (CD, SD, DD, IFT & IFC) Familiarity and good knowledge of different Design styles and various design concept and trends, including but not limited to heavy Classic French style, Islamic style, Moroccan Style and modern, contemporary designs.

* Proven experience in large- and small-scale projects and must have the ability to Design all the following projects types: Commercial building, Private Villa and palaces, Business and multipurpose Centers, Education and Medical Centers, Hotels, Towers, and High rise Buildings, Government and semi government projects etc.

* Extensive knowledge in developing Detailed interior design layouts using AutoCAD and/or Revit. Extensive knowledge of detailed interior design drawings and the ability to read and apply pertinent codes and standards.

* Good knowledge of Mechanical, electrical, and structural disciplines related to coordination work with interior Design.

* Ability to conduct Design Review at a consultant level.

* 3D visualization using multiple software's such as Sketchup. 3ds max Vray or corona and Lumion etc.

* Ability to Make 3D Animation and 360 degree Renders.

* Experience in adobe photoshop, illustrator ,InDesign and post production Software's. &Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint

* Experience in working with customers and client base and ability to do proper presentation.

* Team Player ability to work in a team-based environment.

* Experience in site investigations and construction review due to design sequences.

* High knowledge and experience in shop drawings and ability to manage multiple subcontractors.

* Fit out experience Minimum 10 years of site experience and on-site supervision.

* Extensive knowledge in different materials, textiles, fabrics, and their Technical Data sheets.
