Senior Backend developer & Ruby on Rails @

We are hiring a Senior Full-Stack Developer with strong expertise in Ruby on Rails

(backend) & TypeScript (frontend) to join our team in Riyadh.You will design, build, and maintain secure, reliable, and maintainable web applications — REST APIs, databases, background processing, and responsive user interfaces.⚠️

Important Requirement: Prior experience working on government projects is required.

.What You'll Do• Develop and maintain Rails applications with clean, modular, maintainable code• Design, implement, and document REST APIs• Design database schemas, migrations, and optimize queries and indexes• Implement authentication, session management, and role-based access control• Build background jobs (Sidekiq / Active Job) for notifications, reporting, and integrations• Build responsive interfaces with reusable, strongly typed React + TypeScript components• Integrate React frontends with Rails APIs — auth, loading states, validation, errors• Support multilingual interfaces including Arabic RTL and English LTR• Write automated tests, review code, and mentor junior developers

What We're Looking For•

5+ years in web development, including:→ 5+ years with Ruby on Rails

→ 2+ years hands-on with React and TypeScript• Strong knowledge of Ruby, OOP, and MVC architecture

Arabic speaker

• Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL• Proven experience developing APIs and integrating third-party services• Experience with RSpec or Minitest, Git-based workflows• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS•

Proven experience on government projects (required)
