Senior ETL Developer

Job Summary (Senior ETL Developer):

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer (Minimum 6 years) to join our growing data team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data pipelines and data warehousing solutions. This role will focus on building robust ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and developing and managing multi-dimensional models using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) cubes.

Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, implement, and maintain ETL workflows using SSIS to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into our data warehouse.

· Develop and deploy SSAS multi-dimensional cubes for efficient data analysis and reporting.

. Strong knowledge of SQL server Query writing, SQL procedures & Functions.

. Complete understanding of star schema

· Optimize ETL processes and SSAS cube performance for scalability and efficiency.

· Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and validation.

· Collaborate with data analysts, business intelligence developers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.

· Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and data quality issues.

· Document ETL processes, SSAS cube designs, and data flows.

· Participate in the design and implementation of data warehousing best practices.

· Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering technologies and trends.

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data infrastructure.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

. Basic understanding of Power BI

· Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or a similar role.

· Strong proficiency in developing ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

· Solid experience in designing, building, and managing SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) multi-dimensional cubes.

· Excellent SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries and stored procedures.

· Understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modelling (star schema, snowflake schema), and ETL/ELT principles.

· Experience with data quality management and data validation techniques.
