Job Summary
The Senoir Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing project costs and budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and value for money across numerous projects, and will report directly to the business directors. The role involves cost estimation, procurement, contract administration on civil engineering projects across sectors such as marine, roads, bridges, energy and specialist engineering.
Key Activities

Preparation of cost estimates, budgets, accounts and variations for projects.

Management and monitoring of project costs to ensure budgetary compliance.

Manage the procurement process, including the preparation and review of contracts, tender documentation, and subcontractor agreements.

Measuring, valuing, and certifying works completed on-site.

Prepare and maintain accurate records, including cost reports, valuations, and payment applications.

Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks, variations, and claims.

Preparation and submission of interim accounts and project documentation.

Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives

Education and Experience

A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.

Knowledge of Irish construction practices, regulations, and standards is desirable.

Minimum 3 years experience in PWC contracts in Ireland

A full, clean driving license is preferred.
